Here are some Frequently Asked Questions.  Okay...okay, questions I thought I would answer just in case anyone was curious.

Q: What is with the green borders on some of your pics?

A: If you read my splash page, you'll see a warning to visitors that my site contains adult material such as violence and nudity.  In my galleries, I denote pictures that depict adult content with a green border.  This green border is for the thumbnails only.  So if you like to use the continuous loop feature, I recommend that you preview the thumbnails first if you do not wish to view such things.  Also, please note that I only highlight pictures that depict sexual situations, nudity, and extreme violence.  I grew up with violence in the media, so many of the pictures that depict some sort of violence are not highlighted because I do not consider them to show extreme violence.

Q: What is this winning visitor thing?

A: I decided to hold a visitor contest.  Here is the deal:  Whoever is the so-and-so visitor (something like 500th or 1000th as indicated on the mainpage) by the counter on the mainpage (where my menu options appear, *not* my splash page), wins a free picture from me!  The winner must take a picture of the page with the counter in it and send it to me to claim their prize.  In the event that the exact number isn't claimed, I will take whoever is the closest.  The picture can be of anything--original art, my character, your character, or even fanart (since this is a gift and not a commission) but remember that my general content rules (as mentioned on my commission page) still apply.  Also, the picture can be in done in nearly any format from pencil to Photoshop.  I only ask that winner be patient because when the counter turns that magic number, I might be really swamped with work. ;-)  Alright, I think that covers it.  Good luck everyone!

Q:  Why is your site called the BlackHole?

A:  I decided to call it that because one, its different and two I feel that it reflects the wide variety of material on the site.  Just like a blackhole sucks everything into it, this site has a bit of everything too.  Plus I just think blackholes are cool!!!

Q:  Can a planet really orbit a blackhole?

A:  It is by my elementary understanding that they can.  Either they have a high enough velocity or if you go by Einstein's space-time theory, if the planet is outside the lip of the space-time depression created by the blackhole, the planet could safely orbit the blackhole.

Q:  Why is a lot of your artwork so old?

A:  Since I started my college career, I really haven't had enough time to draw or paint and hence my skills haven't advanced by much since high school.  Therefore, those old pieces are the most abundant of my art and some are still good examples of my skill.

Q:  Why are you wasting space on the net with this site?

A:  Because I can and I'd like to think that people might actually enjoy looking at my work.

Q:  Why don't you update more often/possess better artistic skill?

A:  The pursuit of a PhD in Molecular Biology and Genetics tends to sufficiently suck up time and energy.

Q: How long have you been doing art?

A: For as long as I can remember.  I am much better at traditional art--I feel more involved with my work when I am covered with pencil or paint.  Perhaps after I acquire a tablet, I can make serious improvement in my digital art skills as well.

Q: What's this story that you've spent half of the fantasy gallery illustrating the characters in it?

A:  Can't tell you.  :-) Maybe after I finish it I will post it on the site.

Q:  Do you do commission work?

A:  You betcha!  Just go to my commissions page for more info!

Q:  Can I do a pic of your character (s)?

A:  Yes!  Nothing brightens my day more than receiving gift art or compliments!

Q:  Will you link to my site?

A:  You can email me with a link to your site, but its up to me if I want to add it or not.

Q:  Why does stuff on your website look funny?  Like displaced or not lined up?

A:  Because Frontpage has a lot of serious shortcomings and I can't afford better HTML writers nor can I learn it myself.  Or...maybe I just don't really know what I am doing.  Either one works. ;-)

Q: Why isn't my question up here?

A; Because you haven't asked me yet!  So email me and ask me right now!!! :-)
