Title:  Six-Spotted Tiger Beetle in Pencil.

InfoPencil.  This was Part 1 of our first real assignment in scientific illustration.  We had to pick a bug from the biology department's bug collection and then draw it in the correct proportions and with all the appropriate detail.  Then we had to render the picture in three different media.  I really like working with the pencil simply because it is what I was most familiar with and it was truly the easiest too.  The scan of it is not too superb though because you cannot see a lot of detail, but the close-up image can give you an idea of what level of detail this picture has.
